The central government is passing important legislations through the din created by government sponsored disruptions. The CPI(M) demands that no legislation should be passed without a proper structured discussion. This BJP central government is undermining the parliament of discharging its responsibility and legislating on important matters working people life and death issues. This must stop.

Communique issued after the June 3, 2021 PB Meeting.

The upsurge of the pandemic continues to take a heavy toll of human life all across the country. The Polit Bureau expresses its grief at these unavoidable deaths and conveys condolences to the families of all those who have lost their lives.

Ensure Uninterrupted Flow of Oxygen
Universal Free Vaccination

In times of the uncontrollable surge of the pandemic across our country:

We call upon the Central government to focus all attention in ensuring the uninterrupted flow of Oxygen supplies to all hospitals and health centres across the country.

We call upon the Central government to immediately launch a free mass vaccination programme across the country.

We are releasing herewith the letter addressed to the Prime Minister by CPI(M) General Secretary on the urgent need to ensure uninterrupted supply of medical oxygen to all hospitals and patients across the country and provision of vaccines free and universally.
