The Polit Bureau of the Communist Party of India (Marxist) has issued the following statement:
Chargesheeted Ministers Should Quit
In the context of the Central Bureau of Investigation filing a supplementary chargesheet in the Special Court at Rae Bareli naming Deputy Prime Minister, L.K. Advani and Human Resources Development Minister, Murli Manohar Joshi as accused in the "Ayodhya Babri Masjid demolition" case, their continuance in the Union Ministry is untenable. They should immediately quit the Ministry.
