Thousands Participate in Protest in Kolkata

As part of the all India observance of the protest day call given by the six parties to expose corruption at high levels in the BJP central and various state governments, on July 20 in Kolkata at the call of 17 left parties a massive Anti-corruption rally was held.
 
The procession started at 2.00 p.m. from College Square and reached Rani Rashmoni Avenue, where a meeting was held. Left Front Chairman Biman Basu presided over the meeting. CPI(M) state secretary Surjya Kanta Mishra, CPI state secretary Prabodh Panda, RSP leader Manoj Bhattacharjya, CPI(ML)-liberation State secretary Partha Ghosh, AIFB Leader Naren Chatterjee, SUCI(C) leader Tarun Naskar among others addressed the gathering.
